You can practice more ‘Real retired questions’ from GMAC. These materials can be purchased from mba.com. They are GMAT Focus & 9 paper sets of GMAT test.
There is plenty of preparation material available on earth, in all forms: Books, CDs, tutorials-lecture, CATs, ebooks, flashcards… Check out the resource section for more information Maybe our forum members answer it better.
The three latest editions combined, don’t have a common question/problem; that is: OG 11th Edition, OG verbal & OG quant. Do not have repeats. I’ll write it in more simple way:
A] OG-11th Edition + OG verbal + OG quant = No repeat
B] OG-11th Edition + OG-10th Edition: No repeat.
C] OG-10th Edition + OG verbal + OG quant : Many repeats (not a recommended combination)
Both have their own significance.
If any CAT simulation software one can trust, it’s GMATPrep™. How GMAT score is calculated is undisclosed by the official sources. But they have provided the tool to gauge the performance. GMATPrep follows the same algorithm as real the GMAT does.

GMATPrep™ is CAT (Computer Adaptive Test), simulation software which has similar user interface as real GMAT exam. It can be downloaded from mba.com
This is very subjective question and answer varies. Three months are sufficient for an average student.
Of course OG-11; without a doubt.
