Finally made a move to fully responsive theme (not bootstrap through). In the process of doing so, I replaced my old theme files (404.php); so instead of copy new files in new theme folder, I copied them to old theme directory. I did that on my webserver (Ubuntu Server) on terminal using SSH. And unfortunately there’s no undo in CLI. š I’m glad I’ve started using Git now.

The wordpress theme currently I'm using is build for archive.amrute.me/ online network.
I first made this wordpress theme available for downloads in June 2009. And now I’ve realised that IĀ must write a log of all changes that I make in the theme, including the release date. Automatic upgrade option is also in my mind but it’ll be done later.
The version number will be given according to the date, month & year of the release of the new theme.
For instance the current version/or the latest updated theme available currently has 10.1 version, Meaning: I released it in year 10 & 1st month, hence 10.1
This page will be updated as and when changes in theme need to be logged.

Amrute.me now working
The parent site of this blog, that is Amrute’s website has now some content, finally.
I wanted to add some pages ever since I registered this domain. But never got extra time. Now have added some webpages in Marathi, To my surprise I see ads in Marathi on these pages. (didnt know Marathi Google AdWords) I also want to add some Youtube video for demos, will do that in next few months. So far it’s looking good as it’s blended in the same theme that this blog is using.Ā Remember the theme is for grabs now. Go get it if you liked it!
Maybe it’ s time I should remove ‘under construction’ note from here & add some helpful links. Though I still want to add some more pages… & upload some photos etc. but will do it side-by-side…

It’s a 1000px width theme, I specifically coded as I believe visitors of my blog mostly have more than 1024 px screen resolution in width.
You can read the description of the them in CSS file once you post it on your workpress dashboard but some things I’d like to disclose about this theme.
I’ve modified someone else’s theme for my needs its optimised for Google Adsense. Google usually approves only 3 ad codes per page, two are already there in the script however there’s scope of adding one more Ad units say in sidebar to increase monetisation probability š
I’ll upload this theme in official WordPress.Org theme directory, once I get more time, writing proper info viz tags. etc.

Yeah I modified the theme that I have been using. I made a lot of changes, made according to my needs.
& it actually taught me a bit of php š I am so happy now as I didn’t give this project to some designer or developer. I must confess it was (is) time-consuming but it’s fun. There’s still a lot to be done … lot of content building is due…especially at the parent site
